Who We Are
We are a faith based organization opened and supported by Metropolitan Tabernacle Belfast and other well wishers and are currently offering rehabilitation services to children with disabilities.
Vision
To improve the quality of life for the children who are physically and mentally challenged as well as adults who are physically challenged in our nation.
Mission
To share and show the love of the Lord Jesus in both word and deed. We do this primarily by offering free rehabilitation services for all persons with disability.
Metropolitan sanctuary was opened in 2007 after a need was seen in taking care of children diagnosed with incurable illnesses like cancer and HIV.
The facility aimed at giving care that responds to physical, social, spiritual, emotional and psychological needs of the children. Our target population were children who may have been infected or affected by HIV/AIDs, had cancer or other life limiting illnesses. At this time, we were known as Metropolitan Sanctuary for sick children.
In the course of operation, the organization realized that 90% of the children seen were children with disability. The organization therefore realigned to handling disability cases through the introduction of rehabilitation department.
In 2010, Missionaries sent from our Mother Church, Pastor Jason Allen, Jolene Allen and their children relocated to Kenya. Pastor Jason served as the pastor and director of the work while Jolene served as the administrator and as an occupational therapist where they served in this institution for 10 years.
Over the years, great steps have been made to positively impact on the lives of children with disability. Currently we are touching many lives for persons with disability both children and adults and it is our joy to do so in the Name of the Lord.
Our desire is to become a centre of excellence in service provision as we serve Persons with disability. We plan to achieve this by remaining grounded to our core values which are:

Quality care: we offer quality Rehabilitative care both to child with disability and the immediate family members.
Enabling environment: we provide conducive Therapeutic and serene environment for revitalization and ongoing healing of children with disability and their families.
Support: we support children with disability to promote individual, integrity and enhance quality of life for both child and family
