REACHING OUT

The heart of Whitewell Metropolitan Church is to show the gospel of Jesus Christ in a practical way to the community. Since its establishment in 2007 the Sanctuary has recevied containers filled with disability equipment, drugs, hospital equipment and clothing for distribution to both individuals and the local Nyeri Hospitals. Teams of volunteers are hosted and a lot of additional community outreach has taken place. This includes medical camps, annual food distribtuions, and painting of PGH childrens ward and burns unit and assistance for Kenwa Orphanage Muranga, schooling sponsorships, street children outreach, and local outreach to the children in Kamakwa village. In September 2011 during sever drought in Northern Kenya, over 6.5 tonnes of food was distributed to Borana and Turkana tribes and to Massai in Doldol.
